Le développeur SubJunk propose une nouvelle version d'UMS, Universal Media Server, qui est désormais certifiée v7.8.0, comme vous le savez la version de la branche 8.0 est aussi libérée, il s'agit de la 8.0.0-b1.

Universal Media Server, connu aussi sous son nom court UMS, est un serveur multimédia DLNA qui permet de profiter de vos fichiers sur n'importe quel appareil de la maison, câblé en réseau. L'application est compatible avec la FreeBox HD, la PS3, Google Android, XBMC Media Server, les télévisions connectées Samsung, et la XboX 360 mais aussi avec les appareils DNLA comme la PS4 ou la Xbox One.
