Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, is the epitome of a faithful sequel.
Dungeon-crawling is the focus here, so if you're not interested in
hacking, slashing, looting and repeating, there's really nothing
that will change your mind in Ring of Fates. But great looks, sharp
writing, and a surprisingly deep and well-balanced combat system make
this an easy recommendation for genre fans.
