Non Obewan c'est pour modifier les vagues du XMB, le son de démarrage du système, l'image de démarrage des jeux.

Là ce sont de nouveaux raccourcis de fonctionnalités qui son rajoutés au XMB.

Dommage que avec XMB Manager Plus 2017 R1 qu'il reste save data utility pour ps3 et ps2 ainsi que memory card utility car il aurais pus etre deplacer dans la catégorie approprié dans le XMB Manager Plus. Il a aussi le child proof qui semble complex a désactiver si activer puisqu'il faut tous refaire le processus dnstallation, un simple mit de passe aurais été génial. Si jecrit ceci ce ne pas pour crétiquer mais pour transmettre mon point de vue car peux etre d'autre dev vont etre capable dajouter cest option et en faire un fork. Peux etre aussu que le dev original va voir et ajouter lui meme

Exactement comme tu fais d'habitude tu install le package et tu lances l'installation en maintenant la touche L1 enfoncée pour installer la "full édition" qui mettra aussi à jour sLaunch et le VSH menu si il y a eu des MAJ.
ATTENTION Les versions sur le ghit hub sont souvent instables donc il vaut mieux rester sur les versions realase sur psx-place.com
Un dernier point. certaine version peuvent nécessiter un clean des fichiers temporaires et du fichier de configuration...

merci mais comment faire un clean. car moi quand je met a jour jai des gros problemes. ex: la ventilo semballe, le slaunch est noir et gele et le vsh menu gele la console.

@XiorgOFF: I left PS3 Save Data Utility because it's much more quicker access and this is the most often used menu in whole XMB. It can be removed from Game category.

VMC utility cannot be moved to anywhere else because will stop working. It's beyond my power. The same is with Save Data Utility icon - it must be read from RCO or else menu will buged. Sony bugs.

About childproof: If You want it remove, just open "dev_hdd0/xmb/xmb_manager_plus.xml" and remove every <!-- --> signs. Or again "install" XMBM+2K17.

This decision is mostly also childproof. Why not password? Because this would require loaded another SPRX module which can be disabled and again, making user life harder and lost some game compatibility (more plugins = more memory left for games).

PS3_EXTRA is extension for PS3 Blu-Ray disc, "XMB XML" are scripts used by the same scripts interpreters as original one. PS3_EXTRA need be mounted from real disc or from dir/disc image. "XMB XML" hack is just part of XMB. It resides on HDD but could be anywhere on mounted "partitions" on NAND/NOR or probably even on disc.

you say you cant move some category in the xmbm + because it will stop working. hummm but XMB EXTRA by 0_obeWAN do that and it work.

+ i think if you are able to add the password option as a choice (ex:active or not the sprx password for that) its just a sugggestion but i think the people will appreciate that.

vous dite que vous ne pouvez deplacer certaine categorie dans le XMBM+ car elle vont arreter de fonctionner. hummmm pourtant le XMB EXTRA de 0_obeWAN fais cela et fonctionne.

+ Je pense que si vous ajouter l'option pour mettre un mot de passe et que les utilisateur peuvent choisir si oui ou non il veulent l'activer il preferais cela. (ex: activer ou pas le sprx pour mot de passe)

PS3_EXTRA is completely different thing. You cannot add any Your menu to it leading to any existing menu or extended one via external plugin. PS3_EXTRA is a mechanism for games to attach content in only package format (and this replaced older PS3_CONTENT). Menu it's always grouped by 3 in line, and 9 at once on one screen without scrolling. None of rules related to PS3_EXTRA has applied to XMB XML. They both are absolutely two different worlds.

Syntax of "XMB menu" is very complex and it's extremely bad designed. Things like icon of seg_sdps3 and vmc utility position cannot be fixed without dirty hacks of internal modules. I really miss the times of evox.ini or unleashx.xml... ;(

About lock by plugin: is really a worth effort to make less compatible with games just for one sub menu? Better idea would be making fork of XMBLock (which lock Settings category).

Yeah i know what is PS3_EXTRA but i dont talk about that i talk about the 0_obeWAN Project XMB_EXTRA you can find this project on you tube in the PS3 EXTRA channel made by 0_obeWAN.

XMB_EXTRA is completly diferent and is not at all like PS3 EXTRA Game Content.

Concerning the XMBLock fork is a really good idea :-)

Ouais je sais ce qui est PS3_EXTRA mais je ne parle pas de cela je parle du projet 0_obeWAN XMB_EXTRA vous pouvez trouver ce projet sur you tube dans le canal PS3 EXTRA fait par 0_obeWAN.

XMB_EXTRA est complètement différent et n'est pas du tout comme PS3 EXTRA Game Content.

Concernant la fork XMBLock, c'est une très bonne idée :-)

Oh, You have right. I read XMB EXTRA and somehow my brain converting it into PS3_EXTRA. I have no idea why. So yeah, it's my fault. And this mod looks interesting (using What's New and HTMLs), never heard of it. Thanks for information, I'll check it.
