La team Infectus vient de release une version Beta 2 de son firmware pour Argon, lui permettant de fonctionner sur les chipsets D2C2. En plus de toute cette avancée, le firmware a le mérite de corriger un nombre considérable de bugs, notament celui du bonton eject. Change log original :

ARGON D2C2 / D2C FIRMWARE - WASABUS BETA2 - 09th june 2008

Warning! This version of WASABUS is BETA, there are some minor bugs to fix and is not an OFFICIAL release. Use it under your responsability!

The WASABUS BETA2 works now on D2C2 and D2C boards.

The D2C code is now updated and fixed, no more problems with the EJECT bugs etc... so all users that need a good D2C code 9 wires will be really happy with this WASABUS VERSION.

The D2C2 code has now a bug in the booting sequence, if you want that modchip works in the right way the procedure is:

1- Insert the game in the console tray
2- Turn OFF the console with POWER BUTTON
3- Turn ON the console with POWER BUTTON

We are working now to fix that booting problem, and we are waiting BETA results if there are other issues to check.

IMPORTANT! the ARGON WASABUS BETA2 .DAT file and .BIN file can be programmed ONLY with special version of INFECTUSPROGRAMMER.EXE attached on this ZIP file!!!

WASABUS debug LEDS:

The LED on the ARGON will show you if modchip is correctly working or not, is very simple

LED OFF = Don't works
LED ON = Code injection procedure is complete

REGIONAL SETUP:
Current firmware is setup by default like PAL.

To setup the other region just shortcut the pads W and R in this way:

Both to GND = modchip OFF
W to GND = JAP
R to GND = USA
