Après plusieurs semaines sans news officiel, Total N00b a mis en ligne sur son blog hier une vidéo presentant le menu VSH en action. Le menu VSH est une fonctionnalité permettant un acces aux deiverses fontcion (choix du mode ISO, etc…) sur les Custom FirmWare. Dans le cas des cartes mère non hackable, ce menu representera une fonctio nessentiel comme “replacement” du recovery menu.
Total Noob nous confirme également que son HEN sortira bien ce mois ci en annoncant que la release aura lieu entre le 20 et le 24 décembre.
MAJ : Total Noob précise également que son HEN possèdera le support de Plugin et qu'il en codera peut-être quelques-un.
Fonctionnalité du Menu VSH
- CPU Clock (change the CPU clock in the XMB)
- CPU Clock Game (change the CPU clock in Games. It’s pretty cool to have a separate feature, you can then run full speed in games, and “normal speed” in the XMB, to save on the battery)
- Fake Region (This will probably allow EU/US owners to access features usually only useful in Japan such as oneseg – not that it is useful…- and hopefully to play all region UMD)
- Skip Gameboot (self explanatory)
- Hide Mac Address (A useless feature, except for paranoid people who think that Sony will waste their time hunting you down based on your Mac address in a youtube video)
- TN Network update (A system to bypass the automatic Sony update, and automatically get updates for the Hen by Wifi maybe?)
- Hide Pic1 & Pic0
- Spoof Version (display a different version number in the system info)
- Protect Flash 0 (A feature we mentioned earlier, to prevent programs from writing in the flash, this will hopefully be - VERY helpful to prevent stupid people from installing a CFW on a 3000 or a pspgo…)
