This doesn’t sound HDD- or HEN-related; the symptoms login more toward a hardware failure, most likely RSX/GPU or Southbridge instability, which is unfortunately common on Super Slims after heavy thermal/fan tweaks. Changing fan behavior won’t brick firmware, but sustained thermal stress can expose a failing chip especially when you get black screen with video sync, no recovery, and inconsistent HDD detection. At this point there’s no software fix; if a clean HDD + official firmware still black-screens, it’s almost certainly a board-level fault and not something you caused via settings.
