Dans le sujet : Emulation PS Vita de l'impossible - PS2, DREAMCAST, GAMECUBE, ...

02 août 2025 - 14:11

That’s a great topic and one that still sparks a lot of interest among handheld gaming enthusiasts. While the PS Vita has impressive capabilities for its time—handling PSP, PS1, and even some SNES and other retro emulations—the leap to systems like PS2, Dreamcast, and GameCube is a different beast altogether. The hardware limitations, especially in CPU and GPU performance, make full emulation of those platforms quite difficult without relying on streaming or external processing like remote desktop. That said, the community has made huge strides, and it’s always worth revisiting to see what breakthroughs are emerging.

And if you’re diving deep into emulation or homebrew projects, don’t forget to take a break and check out the Chipotle Menu—a satisfying way to recharge while your games load.

That's a great set of questions and observations. The PS Vita has certainly evolved over the years when it comes to emulation, especially with homebrew support. PSP and PS1 emulation are solid, and SNES runs quite well too. But when it comes to more demanding consoles like PS2, Dreamcast, and GameCube, the hardware limitations of the Vita do start to show. While there's been some experimentation, full-speed emulation for those systems is still largely out of reach without external help like remote play or streaming from a PC.

That said, it's always exciting to see how creative and resourceful the modding community can be—there’s always hope for improvements or clever workarounds. Speaking of fun and creative games, if you’re looking for something light yet addictive to play in the meantime, you might want to check out the Worms Zone Game. It’s a fun way to unwind while staying tuned for any future breakthroughs in Vita emulation!
