Totally feel you on the 3DS struggles—updating can sometimes mess with custom firmware, so it's wise to be cautious. I've had similar issues trying to get older DS games online via Twilight Menu. While figuring all that out, I’ve been passing time with S9 Pro Game, which offers a fun mix of online card games like 3 Patti and Rummy. It’s a nice break without needing to tweak consoles or risk losing hacks.
