I have tried the RGH and cant get it to boot into xell period. I tested all my welds with multimeter and everything checked out fine. CPLD was programmed with Trinity Jed file which checked out fine. ECC file was built and flashed correctly but, i feel i did
something wrong somewhere. I have removed the CPLD Coolrunner and the console still will not boot with stock nand image.

you used -w16, to reflash your stock nand ?

When it won't boot with stock image, there is no reaction of the console? error code? blinking forever?

Yes -w16 nand1.bin can anyone confirm that the welds are correct on the CPLD pictured.\\

I get a solid red light when trying to boot with stock nand, but when CPLD is attached i get a the blinking green light like no dvd drive is attached.

I removed it all , and tried to reflash the stock nand image. The pictures i do have are of the CPLD. I used a 270pf cap but not shure if soldering the ground and glitch wire to the cap are correct.

Ok so , I think the best for you is to restart on a clean with a "real" chip, like coolrunner or 360glitchchip.
this will prevent the supposed problem of change CPLD ect ...

Yeah i am waiting on the TX coolrunner to ship. I would still like to get this console to boot with stock nand if at all possible.

tbh i did the RGH on fat and slim with the digilent cpld and it works great ... you don't really need a dedicated RGH chip
If you get a red light with stock image, you probably have a short somewhere...

Is the wiring for the ground and the CPU glitch coming off the CPLD i have pictured similar to what you have done? If so i am going to try welding this on another slim. I just dont want to kill another console

i had two but after looking at the diagram i had 8-9 wired to the board not 9-10 this was the mistake i made by not double checking my wiring and is what shorted out the console most likely..

I have since checked the nand a few times , and what is being copied to the nand matches my dumps without error. So there must be a short somewhere on the motherboard leaving this console dead in the water. I will probally just pay the $99 for M$ to repair it instead of trying to chase down the fault.
