Le développeur Major_Tom vient de sortir VitaCID, un nouvel outil PS Vita fonctionnant sous HENkaku, et qui va vous permettre de récupérer l'ID (soit l'équivalent de l'IDPS de la PS3), de votre console. L'outil donne en effet accès à la zone ID de la console, et écrit un fichier à la racine de votre système Vita. Vous pouvez alors récupérer le fichier pour connaitre votre ID.
Dans le descriptif de cet outil, Major_Tom informe qu'une option "Activation Console" va voir le jour dans une prochaine version, et il pense que très bientôt, il va y avoir des grandes évolutions pour la PS Vita.
What is VitaCID?VitaCID is a tool that runs on a HENkaku-enabled PS Vita (currently Vita firmware 3.60 only). It retrieves your Vita's console ID and writes it in a file at the root of your Vita System (that you can later on retrieve for example via FTP).Currently the tool is of little use for the vast majority of users, but it is expected that we’ll see “Console activation” homebrews released soon, that will let you activate a 3.60 Vita without having to update.
