Nintendo a dévoilé dans la nuit le tout nouveau firmware 3.0.0 pour la Nintendo Switch, il amène de nombreuses fonctionnalités avec un changelog important. Bonne nouvelle, la Team PegaSwitch, au travers d'un tweet de Daeken, confirme que les bugs découverts sur 2.0 et 2.3 sont toujours présents sur 3.0 et que donc PegaSwitch fonctionnera, et à terme les homebrews.
Ceci est également confirmé par l'ajout du support du 3.0.0 dans Switch-Oss.
