ParalleX nfo file.
Version 0.1 a
04/06/2003

--Introduction
ParalleX is a small launcher application that allows you to run hacked XBEs and their associated
data files easily, without losing the ability to run the original game as well.  This is
particularly useful for DOAXVB.  You can play with the money hack/nude hack turned on, then
when your little brother wants to play, you can launch it in the original mode.
Each launch option can run a different XBE, as well as have different data files associated
with it.
Currently (as its released), ParalleX is setup to launch nude and original versions of DOAXVB.

--Usage
Rename the default.xbe file to parallex.xbe.  The only reason it is named default.xbe in the
release is so I can take *this* moment to tell you that you should *NEVER*, ever launch
the Parallex XBE file unless it is named default.xbe.  Ever.  I know if I released it with the
XBE named ParalleX.xbe, someone would fuck up.

Copy ParalleX.XBE and the ParalleX_media folder to the folder containing the game you want
launch options for.
Example:  Copy ParalleX.XBE and its media folder to the doaxvb folder on your f drive.

If you would like to launch different XBEs for each launch option, rename them appropriately.
Example:  Rename the original default.XBE to default.orig.XBE and rename the nude patch XBE
to default.nude.XBE.

Rename ParalleX.xbe to default.xbe

If you would like a different datafile associated with each XBE, rename them appropriately.
Example:  Rename the original datadvd.afs to datadvd.afs.orig and rename the nude patch afs
to datadvd.afs.nude.

Copy the movie XMV file you would like to play during ParalleX's runtime to the ParalleX_media
folder and name it movie.xmv.  For more information about xmv files, read the details section
below.

Edit the LaunchData.xml file to specify the different launch options.  Notes on editing can
be found inside the file.

Now launch ParalleX from the Evox menu.  The first time it is launched, it will show up as
ParalleX.  On subsequent launches it will show in the Evox menu as whatever you specify in the
LaunchData.xml file.

After you launch ParalleX, press the appropriate key for the launch option you want to run.

--Details
File listing:
ParalleX.XBE:  This is the app file.  It is important that it is named default.xbe before
you run it.  Do *NOT* run it under any other name.  I warned you.
ParalleX_media\
movie.xmv:  This is the movie played during the ParalleX runtime.  It should be
640x380 (or a matching aspect ratio), as I will squish/expand it for you
at runtime.  The version I included with the release is WAY downsampled.
I have the same file sampled at 2mbps (65 meg file) and it looks beautiful.
LaunchData.xml:  This controls the version of ParalleX in the same folder.  Notes on
editing can be found inside the file.
      fonts\
Launcher.bmp:  This is the font used at the bottom of the ParalleX screen.  Feel
                        free to modify it.
Launcher.desc:  This file describes the bitmap file.  Make sure the settings match
The bitmap if you modify it.  You must use a monospaced font to
                         keep things looking reasonable.

--Thanks and Greets
Thank you to all the big guys who make this scene possible.  Thanks to the XBMP team for
releasing what, is arguably, the best app out for the xbox.  Thanks to xbins for remaining
loyal to the devs, and thanks to the guys in that super-secret dev channel that I leaked
the key to, last week =/.
