SXB mini usbkey readme SXB team.
Ok first we have to format usbkey,sticks,mp3players like mine he he.

quicker way is if you have a running linux pc

do this stick usbstick in usb port
then type cfdisk /dev/sda now make large portion off linux file system

leave a bit for swap space for future use
so make a linux swap space with the rest of the free space

So if you have 256 stick 200 linux file system: make it bootable also for future use as we can install native on usb i did just test ok.
the other 56 can be swap space ok.

so write and quit cfdisk ok

now we have /dev/sda1 :which is our linux system were main sxb files will go.
and swap space ya./dev/sda5

now format it  /dev/sda1 :ext3 or ext2 or others i am using ext3

then take it out of the pc :Note you can do the same on while you run sxb mini but you will have to
                            add the usb mini update first as only then tour usb stick will get picked
                            up so you can do this on xbox aswell ok.

ok the usb mini update once you extract it copy the new lib.img  to base dir on sxb mini ya

get rid of the old one next you do the same with root.tar.gz in to packs dir:This is where i put

sxbusb-install.sh script for now ok.Then copy new vmlinuz initrd.gz linuxusb.cfg and default.xbe

to / wherever your sxb mini is at ok overwrite old files ya

stick your newely formated usbstick in xbox

Now run sxb mini from hd might get some scsi verboes messages ignore it for now as it picked up stick
thats a goo sign.

so soon you are in ede desktop ok dont hurry,

now open treminal and type /root/./sxbusb-install.sh

and run script once the script is finished you will have /f/sxbusb dir where our 4 boot files go

and to save space on usb stick the script only copies base,packs,modules dir and one file

called livecd.sgn this is very very important file without this no sxb will ever work

so in a minute or too its done.

So now reboot go into /f/sxbusb dir click xbe and now you are running SXBONASTICK ok.

ignore debug messages for now first time it will fell slow dont worry it will reach
desktop and once run and all gets cached in memory so even a slow usbkey will run
fast so dont waste money trying to get the fastest money can buy.

THATS IT i will try and mabe improve script to do all the cfdisk stuff aswell but do for now.

But dont forget its much quicker to do all this on pc if yo want

to do all manually dont forget livecd.sgn and dont change linuxboot.cfg dir path leave it / not /sxb etc

and rename linuxusb.cfg to linuxboot.cfg ok


so pull out sxbonastick from your pocket click xbe and run

when finished put sxbonastick in pocket cool have fun

oh ya the script adds a little update  swap img on hd to speed up mini sxb when run from hd.
