- - - - -

PSP Automatic Homebrew Installer (PSPAHI)
by SodR

Plattform: PC/PSP
Version: 2.0

.:What is this?:.
  -------------

This is a tool that you can use if you are unsure
where to put your hombrew (it installs it for
you automaticlly) or if you just are lazy.

.:Functions:.
  ---------

.:In v2.0:.

- Now copies the whole directory along with the eboot

- The installing process is now splited up into 5 steps
(makes it even easier to understand)

- While installing the Downgrader or the 2.0 update the
program now downloads the eboots instead of just copy
them from the harddrive (this reduced the size of the
  app from 32mb to 5mb)

- Much nicer GUI

- You can now install the app wherever you like

- Hopefully impossible to fail installing the homebrew
(if you just follow the instructions correctly)

.:In v1.0:.
  -------

- Automaticlly install homebrew in the right directories
for psps with firwmare version 1.0,1.5,2.0,2.01,2.5 or 2.6.

- Automaticlly install MPH Downgrader 1.0.1 and put all files needed
  in the right places.

- If you start it and tries to install homebrew on a 1.51/1.52 psp
the program will automaticlly ask if you want to update to 2.0
and then install 2.0 update eboot.

- Super user-friendly interface

- Comes bundled with installations of kxploit and eLoader
  (patched v0.97 "bock")

- Includes readme's to every program it contains (so it's impossible to fail)

- Every term that can be hard to understand is explained (eg. firmware,
1.5 homebrew format, drive letter etc.)

.:Installation:.
  ------------

Just run the PSPAHI.msi installer and follow the instructions.

.:How to use it properly:.
  ----------------------

.:On 1.0/2.0/2.01/2.5/2.6:.

The fastest way to install a homebrew is to right-click on the eboot you
want to install and choose "open with". Then select PSPAHI and choose open.
When PSPAHI have started press "Install a homebrew" and follow the instructions.
By using this method you can jump over step 2.

Another way to install the homebrew is to run PSPAHI from the start menu.
If you do this you got to manualy select the folder containing the eboot
you want to install (at step 2).

If you haven't done it yet you got to install eLoader to run eboots on 2.0-2.6. When
you complete the installation of the homebrew it will ask if you want to install eLoader.
Push "Yes" to install it. For further information, see the eloader readme (can be found
the help section in PSPAHI).

On 1.0, just start your psp and goto game-->memorystick and launch your homebrew.

On 2.0, just start your psp and goto photo-->eloader and it will automaticlly start.

On 2.0-2.6, just start your psp and boot GTA:LCS. While in the game choose "load game" and
select eloader.

.:On 1.5:.

NOTE: You can NOT use the right-click and "open with"-function on 1.5.

Everything on installing homebrew on a 1.5 psp works the same as on 1.0/2.0-2.6 except
at step 2. On 1.5, you got to choos two folders; One folder with the main program and
one folder with the kxploit eboot ( the kxploit folder has an '%' at the end of its
foldernam eg. mainfolder = Folder and kxploit folder = Folder%). Then just follow the
rest instructions.

When you'r done, simply start your psp and goto game-->psp and launch your homebrew

.:Troubleshooting:.

This version should be almost impossible to fail with on.
If your unsure of what to do, check out the readme's under the "Help" section.

But if you manage to fail, make sure that:

- The psp is correctly formated (Do that by starting your psp and goto
settings-->system settings-->Format mmemorystick (This will delete all
your files on the memorystick, so back them up first)
- You really have selected the psp drive at step 3
- A homebrew/update/downgrader with the same names already is installed
  (if so, delete it)
- You have a connection to the internet ( only needed for the update to 2.0
  and downgrade to 1.5 functions)

If you have problems uninstalling the program, just restart your computer and
start the uninstaller without starting PSPAHI.

.:Notes:.

You can get the program on hem.bredband.net/kalsod
